Formulated with a proprietary high-durability polyester resin, this system contains the right balance of exterior grade pigments to provide color stability and overall value. The tough yet flexible proprietary resin, combined with its long-term exterior weathering performance, makes ArmorGuard XD-20 coatings your cost-effective choice for exterior building components where scratch and abrasion resistance are needed in addition to forming flexibility.

Available in a wide range of colors and gloss levels, an efficient intermix color matching process provides quick delivery of special colors to meet customer needs. ArmorGuard XD-20 coatings are designed for application to primed metal substrates which include hot dipped galvanized steel, Zincalume®, Galvalume® Zam®, and aluminum. ArmorGuard XD-20 is designed to be applied as a two-coat proprietary system which includes the topcoat, primer, and backer coatings. When properly applied, the system will provide years of service for your building products.

Sustainability

ArmorGuard XD-20 can be formulated using Infrared Reflective (IR) or “cool pigments” to comply with industry energy conservation initiatives such as LEED, Title 24, Energy Star®, and ASHARE. Use of “cool” pigmented coil coatings can help reduce energy consumption for conditioned living space and reduce expansion and contraction of metal panel to help increase the useful life.
